What Resume Assist processes

Resume Assist processes the resume content, job description, template choices, and editing instructions you provide so it can create and format your drafts. Do not submit information you do not have the right to use.

Temporary files and private sessions

Files are temporary and are automatically deleted after your session expires. Original uploaded files are processed for extraction and are not published as public files. Generated PDFs are kept in private media and served through your private session link while the session is active.

AI processing and OCR

Resume Assist uses local server-side OCR when a scanned PDF needs text extraction and uses OpenAI API calls for paid rewrite generation. The resume and job-description text needed for a requested rewrite may be sent to that provider to complete the request.

Payments

Stripe processes payments for Resume Assist. Clairos does not store full payment card numbers on its own systems. Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy terms.

Aggregate product-use measurements

Resume Assist records limited first-party event counts, such as page actions and wizard steps, to understand whether the paid workflow is working. These measurements use no advertising trackers, third-party analytics, cookies, persistent visitor identifiers, resume content, job-description text, or full referral URLs. Pre-session measurement records are automatically deleted after 90 days.

Security and sharing

Private session links are designed to keep generated drafts and downloads tied to your active session. You are responsible for protecting and sharing those links carefully. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
